Home Health Aide

Course Description:

Provides opportunities to work in the Home setting, including Home Health and State aide to the elderly and disabled.

KDHE pre-requisite for this class is a current Certified Nurse Aide Certificate and Reading Test. Student must supply the Reading Test score before class begins. Click here to see what reading tests are acceptable.

Expected income ranges from $8.37 - $11.16 per hour depending on location and the type of work you do.

This 20 hour course is designed to provide Certified Nurse Aides with additional training and knowledge to provide safe, effective, and supportive personal care assistance in the privacy and comfort of an individual client's home setting.
